The Fourth Age: Total War Screenshot Competition

We have decided that we will be holding a competition for the best screenshots from ‘The Fourth Age: Total War – The New Shadow’. The winning screenshots will be “immortalized” as loading screens in our next major release, and will be seen by thousands of players. The winners will be credited. Since we need multiple new loading screens, there will be multiple winners. The screenshots will be edited by our 2d artists, so please provide us with un-edited images; if you wish you can send us edited images in addition. Entries can be sent to me by PM, or to this e-mail address: fatwmod (at) gmail.com. The competition will close on February 15th.

    A few tips:

    • Turn off the banners on the units by going into preferences.txt and changing SHOW_BANNERS:TRUE to SHOW_BANNERS:FALSE
    • Use the movie_cam to take screenshots. Find out how to enable, and use, it here.

LOL. I like that pic, even though I think it should be avoided having units being knocked several metres up in the air; just doesn't seem realistic to me.

Lol it's because the Mumakil aren't realistic too !

Hehe, that's true! Mumakil are perfectly realistic (and we got lots of historical evidence backing our case up!) But yes, this is a tad too much for a LS.

People, don't be shy, do submit your work!

Militia Cavalry, do you belong to the Rome Total War Heaven forum?

Because if you're not the person from that forum I'm thinking of, you ripped that picture off of someone else.

    EoJ at your service, Zav
If you played M2TW you'd know I have a fondness for militia cavalry, so that's my name here. So no worries, that's me.

    Ah good.

I'm actually a little disappointed, I would have felt so cool calling someone on that. Good to see you've joined this forum, its a great place to be.
