Yes they are, Silahdars (Sultan Bodyguard - Sari Bayrak) there are 5 more Kapikulu cavalry units.

These cavalries were also called as People of the Six Units, because there were six Kapikulu cavalry corps

No, they mean Silahdars, because Silah mean armor. arm. weapon so Silahdars from Persian, translated roughly as weapon-bearers.

I know that, but Silah means only weapons. actually it means's sultan sword bearers, though what i know from Seljuks and Mamluks that the silah'dar not work alone. In Seljuks units like Jund'Dareyyah. their commander is the Jund'Dar not all the troops Jund'Dars, so in Arabic the units called Jund'Dareyyah. Also the mamluk have the Tabar'Dar [Sultan's guard commander] and the unit's Tabar'Dareyyah. so I think also the Silah'Dar, but I don't know his troops called. maybe Artizan can help more in that
