hey I gott idea for one croatian AOR unit- KNIGHTS HOSPITALLERS!
why not?
can you tell at least five battles where the knights hospitallers foughtet under sicilian, venetian or german banner?
hospitallers in Hungary where not popular.almost every hospitaller knight from Lands of St. Stephen was from Croatia....banderium of Priarity of Vrana was the backbone of army of Slavonian tabor, and most important the croatian knights of Order of st. John where one the greatest defenders of Croatian people!
is it a same case with sicilian or german hospitallers?
Just to say, the allie thing is going to take the magic from factions.
Kosovo is Serbia! If you don't believe me, read a book.
There was no 'croatian infantry regiments' and such.
They just were normal knights, normal peasants, normal bowmen...
I think it is a waste of a unit slot to have a copy of a pavese shield bearer unit for example, where the only difference between the hungarian and the croat unit is the painting on the pavese shield...
(it would be cool though to have both croatian and hungarian coat of arms present in a knight or pavese unit in my opinion)
More diversity with croatian units. Maybe they had some speciality at least in their clothes.
Plus croatians may feel better having their units in game.
But hospitaliers weren't excusively croatians. I think, most of chivalric orders had more foreign knights than native ones in Hungary though.
I think the units from Magyar Mod should be used here as well, with the permission of the ones that made them of course...

I'm pretty sure that was what the team intended to. They were also going to use units from the Complete Byzantine Unit Roster for the Byzantine factions...
γνῶθι σεαυτόν ~ μηδὲν ἄγαν
from the main factions: serbian rooster is half done, bosnia in not yet.....but the map isn't finished, some units must be made, the other factions will be made from other mods or vanilla, we havent completed the scripts, etc. etc. but the most serious are serbia, bosnia and the map.....
Yeah that's how the Magyar Mod chose to represent the other ethnicities that bolstered the Hungarian army, there will also be German coats of arms amongst regular knight units I believe. The exception to this rule is the Vlach Spearman unit, as Vlachs had a totally different social status and were thus levied separately and at different times.
