TTW Campaign map

Everything related to the TTW map goes here.

Here is the picture of the region (for this occasion I will post map_heights) that will be included in TTW. I know that the map might look like a provincial map, but the map is bigger then the vanilla one.

In the future, I will probably expand the map to the west, to include Genova, as another faction, and maybe to the east.

But this map will be in use in v1.0.

I wonder, Italy, wouldn't be a bit empty as the mod focuses in the Balkans?

No my friend, will not be empty. For the first version of the Tsardoms we will have 2 faction for Italy and we are seriously thinking about Genoa(for the future) too. So there will be lots of fun in Italy

Speaking of which... Will the papacy be included in the mod... It may have been answered before i didn't check, in which case I apologise for the useles question.

Edit: Another question: Approximately how many regions do you think Hungary will have? Its just I want to know which regions to focus on in the new hungarian map I am drawing.

Hungary will have approximately 12 regions. Maybe more, maybe less.

And yes, papacy will be included, but as an emerging faction.

Good-looking provinces. Though Italy might need one or two alterations (e.g. the addition of Napoli, Siracusa and Palermo), as might Greece (e.g. the addition of Patra and Thiva). Excellent work though.

Or perhaps, instead of Patra, Andravida. It was the capital of the Principality of Achaea until it was captured by Constantine XI Paleologus.

Yes, mod starts at 1345 and Principality of Achaea was united with Duchy of Athens from 1319.

I like the idea of adding Thiva(or more likely Neopatras since the Catalans ruled the Duchy of Athens and Duchy of Neopatras) and Andravida to the map. These would add a lot to Athens and give them a chance against the Byzantines, Serbs, and Ottomans.
Mystras and the fortress of Monemvasia will be under Byzantine control at the start of the game.
