Default Syrian CTD

Keep getting CTD's as the Syrians in the year 1192. A real shame as I was enjoying the campaign alot. Any ideas what is causing it?

When and how does it happen? Does it happen after you click end turn, and if, during which faction's move?
You can also check in the /logs folder, and see if it tells you anything.

Have you downloaded and installed the names fixes? Here's a link to the post:

Follow the instructions for the names files. There were some bad names in various files which led to a lot of the CTD's. Since Tornnight was not about, I took the initiative to post the corrections.

The expanded.txt file fix is purely optional. The other four files must all be downloaded and used together.
Humbled to be under the patronage of Annaeus

I'll give it a try, Thanks. Though I'm guessing that I will have to restart my campaign??

Depends on the reason of the crash.
If it crashes during the rebel turn, it sometimes can be solved by opening the console and typing "add_money slave 40000" ("add_money, slave 40000/add_money slave, 40000" ?)
a few times.
