This looks sweet! Imagine playing a massive battle where your troops are marching beside you. It could be a big hit in the gaming community.

Man that does look cool. Mmmmm... i wounder how much it would cost![]()
Wow. That looks awesome. Although I wonder what kind of hit your FPS will take.. and my pocket.
According to the Theory of War, which teaches that the best way to avoid the inconvenience of war is to pursue it away from your own country, it is more sensible for us to fight our notorious enemy in his own realm, with the joint power of our allies, than it is to wait for him at our own doors.
- King Edward III, 1339
That must be about 36"-48", not going to be cheap methinks.
It says 3-foot (36") wide. The biggest con is the display resolution (2880 x 900), so no 1080p high definition viewing. Users probably wouldn't be getting it for that anyway so not all bad. I'm sure the price tag will be huge since their new 22" crystal LCD monitor is retailing for $1200.

Sad part is, the woman Im going to marry next summer is about done with her PhD in botany. Sounds great, but unless she gets into plant DNA nonsense she wont be pulling in a six figure salary, and thus I will be without such toys.
This picture seems to give a better idea of just how large this thing is, and I'm thinking it will be much more than I initially thought.

The fascists of the future will be called anti-fascistsThe best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity
"When one person suffers from a delusion it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called religion." -- Robert Pirsig
"Feminists are silent when the bills arrive." -- Aetius
"Women have made a pact with the devil in return for the promise of exquisite beauty, their window to this world of lavish male attention is woefully brief." -- Some Guy
They only charge what people are willing to pay.
Sadly that's the mistake I made (was willing to pay) when I bought my Dell 30". I was simply not interested in reading up on the tech at the time to make an educated decision. Although Dell does make some really nice monitors and demand a small premium (24" is fantastic).
Yeah maybe something like this...

It could be fun with a quadro gpu and shutter glasses.
