    Default Proposal: Vikings for M2TW

    Hi folks!

I'm somewhat missing Viking Invasion and thought it would be nice to have a piece of it in M2TW. And since it's even generous to call me a newbie a modding I can just selfishly ask someone else to do it.

What I would like is a Scandinavian faction (Sweden, Norway or both together, maybe even Iceland) which refused to convert to Christianity and didn't give up its traditions. When it comes to the units one could take a good deal from Viking Invasion. But please, no horned helms, fur boots and other cliché-crap... That's the paradox: even though the whole situation is unhistorical I'd like a historically accurate viking faction.
With one exception: pagan priests and temples would be helpful in order to avoid religious unrest. Priests of the old Norse religion converting the populace to their faith is ridiculously unhistorical but would be practical in terms of gameplay.

So you see, a weird little mixture of history and fiction. However, is there someone willing to make such a mod? By the way, it doesn't have to be too much work... for example reskins instead of new models and animations would be just fine.
