    Default changiing banners on chariots?

How do I change the britania banner on back of chariots to another barbarian banner? which files should I be looking at to modify?

You mean the blue banner with the deer? You have to edit the texture. Unfortunatelly that`s in a .pak file(in data/packs). You`d need to decompress it using Vergingetorix`s xpak(it`s in the download section of twc) and redo the pack after you`ve changed the texture. Just leaving it out in a different subforum like with other textures won`t work because the game will still look for it in the pak file first and will load that one.
Alternatively you could make another smaller pak and name it mod_0.pak or mod_1.pak and put the new texture in this one. The game will look there first and this saves you the work to repack the bigger one. There is also a fileparser for xpak that makes it easier to make a pak file. You`ll find that in the download section too.
And btw, you`d need a program able to edit the texture which is in .dds format. Gimp for example can do that and it`s also free. There is also a dds plugin for it available.

I already xtracted texture files and have the requisite Gimp with dds plug-in to mod unit textures. Already moded the texture file for the british heavy chariots only thing is I don't know how to re-pak. I'll see if I can figure it out by using the file parser. Thanx for the info, it should come in handy!

Okay got the file parser and managed to create the pak file, now how do I re-pak it? Assistance would be appreciated, thanx.

The fileparser is self explanatory. You should have instructions for every step you need to complete. I don`t remember more specifics as I usually follwed its guide. But, as I`ve said, repacking the whole pack is a huge work since you need to select every file in there and while fileparser allows you to select all the files of one sub-folder you`ll still have to go through all of them. It`s easier to create a pak using just the modified texture and name that pack mod_0.pak. The game will check that first and will load the texture from there. Just make sure to place the texture in the right sub-folder before repacking. Follow the path it had in the original one.
