the year is 190 BC.....a little early to be considering the Marian Reforms, maybe, but it was preying on my mind because although I have more than enough money to recruit the necessary armies to fend off invaders and conquer new lands, my borders are becoming increasingly hard to defend, a major collapse is likely to occur if Marian legions can't be raised ASAP, so the main thing is that all the generals who are young enough to forfill the requirements of the Marian general are Optimates! Of the 60-odd generals alive, of which the Sharp/Charismatic/Vigorous crowd are small and shrinking with every bunny-toothed wonder the finest wives of the Senatores shoot out........ Anyway, the point is that it is incredibly rare for someone to become a populares, so what traits/conditions/misc. are a good indication that a senator will join the populares? And preferably amoung the Patricians, since the plebians seem to be dying out, for some reason... Oh, yes, I'm playing the Romani. Thanks in advance, whoever answers.

Plebs get populares a lot easier than patricians.
Also, worshippers of Ceres get populares easier.
