Default Women turning on the tears to get what they want. Acceptable or just wrong?

Hillary has an 'emotional moment' and wins in New Hampshire. Coincidence?
Is deliberately turning on the tears an acceptable way for women to get what they want or devious underhand tactics?

From my point of view it's unacceptable.

Its not the woman's fault. If people are stupid enough to be won over by it, its their fault.

He who joyfully marches to music rank and file, has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice. This disgrace to civilization should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, how violently I hate all this, how despicable and ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be a part of so base an action. It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder.

Not if she's doing it on purpose.

Precisely. It's only as unacceptable than any other political trick.

Neither of the above, but I understand the question. It's just another PR tool. Guys go shooting and things, play the 'I'm butch' card. Women cry - play the 'I'm emotional' card. It's up to people to decide whether or not it actually means anything to them.

To be honest, its only the fault of the people who buy such nonsense. As the poster above says, "people who don't use the tools at their disposal are fools".

Of course, all they ever do is exploit our feelings to get what they want.

Oh, why why WHY do we love them still?

If a man is stupid/blind/arrogant enough to buy into the tears of a woman then he deserves the likely negative side effects of his foolishness. Women are taught to cry because then men, feeling superior, will feel obliged to help the damsal in distress. Sometimes a woman is truly in trouble and in need of help but because of the treachery most women employ as tools to get what they want, I simply ignore crying females and make a point of never showing them respect in the future.

Weakness is weakness, be you male or female, I just wish more people would realize this, because Hilary crying, whether it was real or not, isn't very presidential, especially because she was crying over her seemingly impending defeat in NH, which happens to be my state of residence. The fact that she won in my state makes me sick, as a democrat and as a man that believe his leaders should have a thick enough skin to at least cover up their emotions in public.

    Because it's manly.

My excuse for not replying before. I didn't notice your post because I was rather busy at the moment.

They aren't trying to gain anything when they do so.

Women are the weakness of men. Women know this. Of course they are going to take advantage of this...

    Earl of Rochester,

An interesting remark considering that it was the woman's vote that turned the tide in Hillary Clinton's favour, as is said in the news media. Aparently then the male voter didn't flinch and if they did not by much.

Neither are most women. Lack of self control is a more common reason. Their brains are smaller, that's science.

Their brains are smaller but denser with neurons. That's science.

    I generally go with this:

Nine in the second place means:
To bear with fools in kindliness brings good fortune.
To know how to take women
    Brings good fortune.
The son is capable of taking charge of the household.

These lines picture a man who has no external power, but who has enough
strength of mind to bear his burden of responsibility. He has the inner
superiority and that enable him to tolerate with kindliness the shortcomings
of human folly. The same attitude is owed to women as the weaker sex. One
must understand them and give them recognition in a spirit of chivalrous
consideration. Only this combination of inner strength with outer reserve
enables one to take on the responsibility of directing a larger social body with
    real success.
