Display problem only with one mod

I have this crt monitor that by itself has the refresh rate to 85 hz max, when I play mods like EB or RS it keeps that setting. But when I play SPQR the refreshing rate drops down to 64, and the image goes up and down, and it hurts the eyes alot. Is there sth I have to do to fix the refresh rate for that mod?

Here is nice little article about refresh rates and FPS. The reason is that SPQR takes decent specs to run that mod and your monitor likely can't handle the game at 85hz. Anything less than 70hz or so will flicker causing eye strain.
