Mod system requirements

What exactly are the system requirements for this mod? I have a pretty decent system, and I've been able to play another mod (RTR) with everything at the max with FPS above 30/40.

EB seems to be a real killer. On the battlefield everything is fine until I move the camera. Then it stutters worse then a nervous 6th grader.

Does it get better?

Here's an update. I just set all my settings down to 'ass' and the lag in both the campaign map and battles is still there.

What gives?

i think the camera thing is due to something else, did you try moving with your mouse?

Does it lag on the strat map before you turn on the script?
Go look at Germania and see if your framerate plumets. If it does this before you turn on this script, then it is the graphics. Turn off shadows (especially on the strat map) and you should get a big improvement. If most of the lag happens after turning on the script, then it is probably your RAM...

Some other people have tried and recommended running EB with RomeTW-ALX.exe (alexander expansion), and optimized video drivers for nvidia/ati.

I did it myself yesterday and they do give much better performance, though now I have other problems to solve.....
