Default Happiest Moment in a Game

First I want to say that I used the TWC terrible search and did not find a topic like this but if it one out there don't execute me

I started this thread in contrast to "Have a Game made you cry" and instead of telling the TWC community about your saddest moment you can tell about your happiest.

I can't think of any at the moment but if any pops up in my head I will edit my post so you can read it

I think that was the best mission in the entire game, the sneaking engine was quite good and I think that was the level that made the most out of that aspect of the game.

    I have several but I will share the best with you;

a.On my first campaign as the Julii;I was awed by the full potential of RTW and managed to beat the campaign after three weeks of intensive gameplay(will all battles played etc).It felt soooo good when I took Rome(and it was a MASSIVE battle as well; )

b.On a finished campaign with the Seleucids were I had reached Iberia with my phalanxes; The Romans gave me a good fight, really stubborn, even if the Brutii and Scipii were crushed soon after the initiation of my Greco-Roman wars;If I recall correctly the Julii were into Gaul so I never managed to wipe all Rome out. Many heroic battles at huge settings *sigh*

c.When I managed to win the championship in Pro Evolution 4 against my friend;I had lost many games against him and he really pissed me off(because he made a good laugh for several days after each defeat). We were really set on winning and we were highly motivated and competitive against each other;I still remind him of the shameful 7-1 defeat of his that lost him the championship!!!

d.When a friend of mine said the phrase "I can take you on Rome:Total war" after playing for about two months;I had around six intensive months of gaming with some weekly abstains for social reasons;"Magna fit caedes" as Caesar would put it!No mercy; It was the first time I ever chased an enemy all around the battlefield to kill his routs(I usually chase them off a little, kill the large concentrations of units and leave the rest be...);I pulled a nice enveloping strategy(were you encircle a bigger army with infantry and cavalry and batter them into submission and managed to kill about the 9,5\10 of his army;A disastrous battle and I assure you that he was a decent strategist, not some noob player who couldn't give an order with ease...

e.When I finished KOTOR I after some weeks of gaming;I remember I was stunned in the movie-like turn of events(where you find out that you were originally a sith lord) and I killed them all in sight;I remember fighting Malak over and over again, angry on being killed seconds before I could deliver the final blow;In one occasion we both died simultaneously!!!If I remember correctly,I finished the game 3 in the morning after playing for the entire evening;I wanted to end it that night and couldn't rest to get to sleep!

Definitely up there. A tough level, with a satisfying ending (I hated that bugger...)

However, I think the last Thieves Guild mission takes the cake:

Not the happiest but one of the most awesome points emotionally was the renegade ending to Mass Effect, the speech that Udina gave was simply spine tingling.

Also, the first time I killed someone with a vindicator minigun in Fallout 2 and the damage counter showed a 4 digit number (in case you haven't played it, most people in fallout 2 have hit points between 50-120, and I did 1100 damage with a single burst).

Can't come up with a specific moment really, it could be dominating in AAO, or just winning over my cousin in a sports game. Even funnier since he hates to lose.

Either way I don't really have a moment where you say "wow" out loud.

The light side ending of KOTOR. It made me smile, especially how the game had managed to stay very Star-Wars, and not gone off track introducing things that aren't really Star Wars, like the sequel (with the whole idea of being cut off from the force and how much darker it was etc).

You can get a lot of happy moments in a game. For me, some examples are:
    -----------------------------------------------------------------
    World of WarCraft
-A loot needed finally drops off boss
    -Character reaches the max.level
    -----------------------------------------------------------------
    Total War series
    -First time completing a campaign
    -----------------------------------------------------------------
    StarCraft
-Completing the final missions for the three races

    This might sound strange, but:
    KotOR I dark side ending
Seeing this huge fleet going out to conquer the galaxy for me was just...undescribeable

Not really, since the dark side ending is non-canonical it's kind of an "alternative history".

    Homeworld: Cataclysm

I've told this story before, but I'll sum it up again here. I was playing a multiplayer skirmish against the AI in Cata with a very good friend of mine. He was new to the game and sort of turtling along, researching every little thing that tickled his fancy and building a small, mixed force. I got tangled up fighting the AI Beast and was getting the crap kicked out of me. I was about to leave the game, utterly frustrated when a bunch of teal unit outlines showed up on my screen and the text floated across the bottom of the screen: "Need a hand?"

We ended up drubbing the AI but good and it remains the best video game experience of my life. I get a little misty just thinking about it.

    BF42 moments.

    So many good times...

Taking a base with your squad after fighting for it for the past 30 min...

Landing a jeep after launching it across a river...

    Wingclips...

Happiest moment was when we were in a match and we were almost gone, two players left, no bases, and an M10 was patrolling one base. Player 1 on our team drives full speed at the tank, hits a building, and spirals out of control into its side, exploding both him and the tank.

Player 2 runs in and caps the base and we come back and win.
