Bug problem

Hey, I just downloaded the mod a few days ago. Everything seems to work fine, but in every campaign I start, no matter the faction, when I get to Winter 414AD, the game crashes to desktop, and says the game has stopped working properly. Any idea how I can resolve this issue??Thanks!

Hi there, jrjordan, can you post which version of the game you are playing? I believe 7.03 is the most stable and if you are playing a later version (.04/5), you may be prone to CTDs. Thanks!

I checked the game and I have 1.6. I'm not sure if thats an older version of the game or what, but if it is, where can I download the most stable version from?? Thanks!

SBH means which version of IB do you have. Version 7.03 is currently considered the most stable version and is available in the download section on this site.

Hi jrjordan, I'm afraid you're a little confused. The 1.6 you're talking about is not the version of the mod, it simply means that you have the original BI patched to 1.6, which is OK. SBH was asking you for the version of the mod you have installed. If you don't remember waht version you're playing, simply go to the RTW folder where you installed the mod, click on the ibfd folder and you should see a text document called IBFD Read Me, open it and the version installed will appear there. If you have more questions, feel free to ask, please.

Ohhh ok got you, my bad. Alright, I have 7.0 downloaded. Is this an older version???Did I download the wrong one, which is probably something I would do, I'm notorious for being computer stupid.

You now need to download the patch V7.03 and install that over V7.0. Then you will have the latest official version.

I think he is playing the ibfdV7.03 which begins in 410AD

Coupled with the fact that I've been playing too much Roma Surrectum, putting myself in a 'few centuries earlier' mindset...

I just now realized that's only a handfull of years. whoops!
