    Default Unofficial mods in 1.1

    Ave EB team

    I would like to ask if you will include some of the unofficial mods in the next release.
    I mean expecially city growth mod of Marcus Aurelius Antoninus(great would be if you could improve it even more), naval models mod and for the Romani Italic units from Reign of Ares (if the unit limit is not reached... in this case could be possible to have different skins to represent allies?)

    Exactly right. This is why the EB team sees it fit to have an unofficial mod sub-forum as a part of their main forums. Which is pretty damn cool BTW. Most mods don't host an unofficial mod sub-forum as part of their main forums. There are plenty of people, to go even further, i would say most fans who play EB, play it exactly the way it comes out of the box so to speak. So for the few who would like maybe a thing or two extra in their EB installation....well that's what the unofficial mod forum is for.

    Well there is some information in the Christmas preview thread which is a sticky.

    I would love to see the city and the diplomacy mod added in.

    EB will not include any of the particular mods that you have listed in the official release. Since restricting city size isn't everyone's thing, I'll continue to upgrade the CityMod for every release but it won't every be offically included.

    v1.1 will mostly just include:
    -new units
    -bug fixes
    -some stat changes
    All of the big change ideas have been put off for EB2, so there won't be any huge differences.

    Nice to know, thanks. Just so I know whether or not it's worth starting a new campaign, could you give me a "not before" date? i.e. v1.1 won't be out before at least March, or something like that?

    If it were coming out in 3 weeks, for example, i would hold off on starting any new campaigns which wouldn't be savegame compatible with v1.1.

    They never tell so don´t even bother, tho they´ll probably give u some hints when it´s about to be released.

    There is no planned release date.
    It really isn't a joke. Nobody knows, not even in the team.
    I can say that it is 'close' to release, though.

    If the map is changed or a new unit is added to a RTW mod, it will not be savegame compatible. (There are other reasons that a mod will be non-savegame compatible, but if an update contains either of those changes, you'll know it is not compatible.)
