    try changing the line

    dir = C:\video_capture\

    to

    dir= C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\video_capture\

    is it for a mod ore just the original m2tw game?

    Please go into the folder
    F:\Program Files\Stainless_Steel6.1\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\capture_tga
    Maybe your files are already rendered.

    1) Yeah, do you use a mod or Kingdoms campaign?
    2) Are you sure that your game is installed at
    C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\?
    If not, change the path in the *.cfg

    @ this

    dir = C:\Programme\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\teutonic\video_capture\

    dir=C:
    \video_capture\

    I have testet this 2 versions but i have no result for my Problem
    The line
    dir=C:\video_capture\
    is not the reason.

    Apart from that your problem is a big mystery... From what I can see you have done everything correctly. Even a wrong replay name cannot be the problem. You wouldn't get that error message if just the replay was missing/misspelled.
    The only thing I can think of is to add this part into your *.cfg-file as it's missing (though I don't think it's the problem):

    [audio]

    speech_enable = 1

    speech_vol = 1

    music_vol = 0

    Don't have much time now, so just a quick note:

    The folder wont be here:
    F:\Program Files\Stainless_Steel6.1\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Stainless_Steel_6\capture_tga
    but here:
    F:\Program Files\Stainless_Steel6.1\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\capture_tga

    The reason why it's loading that long is because the game has to fast-forward to the point you want to render. So, if your cam is placed for instance at minute 15, it'll take very long time to load. A cam that's at minute 2 will need to load much less.
    If you want to use the Cine_ed for screenshots you probably have short cameras only?! And if you additionally have a fast PC it's no wonder that it renders so quick. The loading part will take much more time than the actual render part. I guess your shots are already rendered and you will find then in the folder I have written above...

    About the problems of wrren and benshady I'll have to write later, when I got more time...

    i will make one my self and check if it works.

    edit : well i made the folder in this directory

    F:\Program Files\Stainless_Steel6.1\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\

    another thing is wrong. My game isn't going as fast as it should be. The units don't walk they seem to jump. When They Move their hands disapear and then reappear when they move

    Hesus, are you sure that the game you are using is installed there:
    F:\Program Files\Stainless_Steel6.1\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\
    I'm pretty sure that the files are already rendered, just don't know where the game saved the avi-files.

    wrren, what game do you mean that's jumpy? M2TW ingame, Cinematic Editor or Cine-ed rendering? Also, what do you think is wrong with your WinRar version?
