    Icon4 Mod Help Please

    Hi i`m new

Ok from download.com id ownloaded a mod named Hadcoresomething and it completely butchered all the good things about the game.So i tried to get rid of it but i can`t for some reason.

    I`ve tried these things
    1.re-installed/restarted Computer
2.deleted allfiles that are within recongization MTW2
3.Search from "My Computer" for the files and couldn`t find them.
4.Re-downloaded the Mod and deleted everything again.

If anyone knows a way to utterly destroy it I`d be very happy and thankful

Uninstall, delete the entire Total War folder from your drive, then reinstall. Should do the trick.

Hmm, never heard of it. I'd stick to download mods from the TWC or other well known fan sites. You can be fairly sure they will work at least.

Would it be possible to download a patch or another Mod that might please me so it could possibly over ride the other?

Hmm, If you give us some exact details about the problem maybe we could help more. Is the game not running at all?

Ok I downloaded the Mod But it`s just a really bad Mod and I can`t find the main files or anything. In other words it`s ruining my game with even more stupid AI and runing the campaign aswell.

Sorry that it may be not an automatic link

I`ve tried to reinstall a bunch of times but it seems that the ******* won`t go away.

Just tell me what info you need and I can probably give it to you

For future ref. always back up you M2TW data file before installing a mod. Just make a duplicate directory and name it vanilla_data or whatever. That way, to get good old vanilla game back, just change/delete modded data and rename the original 'data'.

As for your current problem, you're just gunna have to uninstall/delete/reinstall as others above have said.... sorry it sucks.

    Cheers

It seems you dont understand when I delete every file I know it doesn`t change anything then when I go back to play it`s still the same stuff.

And thank you for that TipBattleDrumz

Ok, so the game runs and you can play a campaign? You just don't like it?

Well, I'd suggest you just forget about that mod then, remove the game, delete the SEGA folder, then reinstall the game from your CD. Then you can install the official TW watches if needs be and it should be vanilla again.

Maybe even throw in a system restore to the first point possible before you installed the mod. That should ensure all traces of it are gone. I've had to do that once or twice with Rome: TW mods that messed the game up.

    Ok thank you very much

Actually the first thing I did was try a system restore and it didnt`t work so I kicked it
