Default Using the command prompt to help the AI?

Is it possible to us the codes for command prompt to hekp AI factions?

Can i say use this to give units to a loosing faction to keep the game balanced? Has anyone tried to do this? Do they wok with the AI?

I have had a look and the Ptolemaic Empire is getting big, think it would work if i gave a load of units and auto built everthing in the seleucid empire build list in its cities?

Has anyone ever tried this to keep the game balanced?

Yeah, codes work for the AI. I have often used codes to assist a weak AI faction. In my latest campaign, the Sweboz were really weak so I kept using the code "add_money germans, 40000" since they were in such debt.

I've also used "create_unit" for the AI, like when another faction is besieging their capital and they don't have enough units to save it. "process_cq [AI town]" works too, but if you use it too much it will cause the AI to run low on money.

    Thanks for the help

Anyone know of anyway to create a ceasefire? Would be hell of a lot easier if i could just stop the war.

You can't cheat diplomacy thorough a console cheat. There is the "Forced Diplomacy" minimod over at the Org forums that will allow you to do so, though. I personally have it, but try to us it as rarely as possible.

It does not recongnise the factions when using the command prompt.

Do you know of a list of the actuall factions name? The engine does not seem to understand the modded name, so what is there actual names?

    Like for the Seleucid Empire?

BTW these forums are really anoyong, slow, no copying from them and this is the second time i have had to write the same message.

But the people on them are great, only thing stopping me from loosing my head here.

I got most of it, but can someone please explain exactly what i need to write to create a unit. Do i use there normal name or english translation, do i use caps like with cities? Will someone please give me an example.

What am i doing wrong here?

Also which faction is the Arabian one? Cant seen to find it in the list, and all the names are confusing if your not used to them.

Sorry to keep asking all the time....

You have to use the interal names for everything. For example, I think the internal name of the akontinstai is "hellenistic skirmisher akontinstai". And to be sure of their names, I would always check the game files first (like the export_descr_units.txt). Follow this format:
create_unit "[character or settlement]" "[internal unit name]" [#] [exp] [weapon] [armor]
    Example:
    create_unit "Pella" "hellenistic infantry heavy pezhetairoi" 5 3 2 2
...would spawn five units of three experience silver weapon, silver armor Pezhetairoi in the city of Pella.

The internal names of the factions is a bit confusing and the weird mix is due to RTW v1.2 when you couldn't rearrange cultures. "saba" is the internal name of Sab'yn (the Arabian faction).
