Is it normal for Satres to reappear after being defeated?

I wanted to siege Veldideno (settlement above patavium) so i wiped out satres' army of double chevron silvers(took quite a beating myself). Than i got another army to siege the settlement, and two turns later, after building all my siege equipment, I find to my horror satres back from the dead with another army of double chevron soldiers

If you are referring to the 10 star rebel general then yes. Since he is part of the script, he will keep reappearing. My suggestion is either to send a small for of mercenaries and siege the town, while your main force fights his army. -Leon

well, theres almost a full stack in teh town too lol. but ya, i sent a couple full stacks up there just in case

When he's dead, him and his whole army is respawned. The way I do it is to wait until the governor of the town dies and his army wanders from the town (230BC-ish). They I send spies to open the gates and attack as soon as I get to the town, while Satres is wandering elsewhere in the province. Once you own the town, Satres will never spawn again and you can kill him once and for all.
