I've been through several different styles for loading screens and changed them a lot, mostly as loading screens are fun to do, but as I wanted to settle on them sooner rather than later ..

Models are made with 3DMax, which is pretty expensive, skins (textures made with Photoshop.

It won't die, I've put to much time in already and I haven't lost one yet, well one but that wasn't mine and it was long ago..Anyway things are on hold at the moment until the map is finished.

I guess I could put up a map preview though. It's still a wip but looks pretty nice already, it'll give you a look at the scale and maybe you guys can give me some ideas about populating it with armies, the start date (first move) will hopefully be the last day of the battle of Thermopylae...

If that is your idea, perhaps the mod could start with a scripted battle (Thermopylae) as the first move of the player, in the way that RTR's TIC does.

Of course, this would mean adding a show_me script to the campaign, which I do not know if you are fond of :hmmm:
