I need one, as I can't exactly tell people to download a whole campaign. There have been a few kingdoms mods now and I was wondering how they got around the mod folder problem?
Thanks for the Barebones mod GrnEyedDvl.
As I am new to this modding lark I was a little confused on how to run M2TW on the Kingdoms.exe. Using Barbones mod I have successfully ported my mod named with my mod name (with the help of gVIM), and it was all reletively painless.
However, if it wasn't for this thread I would never have found it. I searched for a mod folder installer etc in tools section and released mods section to no avail!
So, thanks again + rep. Well I would but I can't...there isn't a rep + button.

No worries, rep not needed. Just so you know you cant give rep until you have 50 posts.
is barebones only for kingdoms as i had a few problems with it?
Barebones is only for Kingdoms.
I'm trying to convert my mod into kingdoms using Barebones and I've followed all the instructions and have copied all my files over but I'm not sure what I need to do next so I can run it. Could someone help please?
Then just double click Barebones.bat to run it.You MUST have the Kingdoms expansion installed.
Place the barebones folder inside the mods folder of M2TW.
Place these 3 files in the root of the M2TW folder:
Barebones.bat
Barebones_cfgfixer.bat
Barebones_headercfg.txt
Double click Barebones_cfgfixer.bat, this will take your vanilla .cfg file and make a .cfg file for the barebones installation.
I can't work out how to properly convert barebones into my mod but I thinking maybe I don't need to. Since I've only changed the map so far, would it work if I created a Kingdoms mod folder from scratch and replaced the map files so I could have things like boiling oil? If so would I want the Retrofit installer?
I have no idea why you are having problems with it. I just downloaded it and ran it, it runs fine.
Download it and make sure it runs with no changes to it, then add your own files.
