    Icon9 Too Much Information...

I'm new to MTW2, now I order MTW2 and Kindoms from ebay (US$56.00 the hole package) I'm trying to catch all the info, patches, MP games, but its way too much data... ja ja ja.

My game will be delivered this weekend, so tell me where to start, witch patch should I download, I will like to play MP, How can I do that?

Will order Empire: Total War by advance... this time...

If you get kingdoms then you dont need to update to any patches. The latest patch is 1.3 and that comes with kingdoms.

Correct me if i'm wrong anyone.

Mulitiplayer i dont know too much about, but most of the popular mods like Stainless Steel, Lands to Conquer (and the imminent Broken Crescent) require Kingdoms and updates for stability and funtions. If you follow the on screen instructions as you install up to kingdoms, you'll be fully patched up.

I don't think that's 100% accurate. From searching through, I've found that most mods are for regular ME2 (though they will work just fine with Kingdoms), and Broken Crescent is (will be) for regular ME2, not Kingdoms:

The reason that most mods will work with Kingdoms even if they aren't designed for it is because if they have a separate modswitch folder then they can still run off the ME2 exe instead of the Kingdoms one.

your version should be 1.0, so i dont think any popular MODs are able to be installed on 1.0..be patient for your ordered Medieval2 and Kindoms..

you install 1.3 with your Kingdomsinstallation so you can download and use most of the latest mods. at least Stainless Steel, DLV, LongRoad and most of the hosted Modifications should work without problems.

dont worry, you will get what you need from playing and then many things that are discussed here will look much more reasonable
