Greek Fire Unit

Are they included in this mod? Because I haven't been able to recruit them in the late era mode.

They are only able to be recruited after the advent of gunpowder, which is a little wrong, so you may correct it with Hellfire15's Greek Flamethrower fix, which I have in latest vesions of my Fix Pack, tey the New Year one!

Yes they are after gunpowder was invented (will change that though) but they are available only in Constantinople.

I have heard of the Byzantine fire ships before as being historic, however, is there any historic basis for land based units with what in effect are flame throwers? Or are these really fantasy units?
