Will my Saved games work?

Happy new year to all,

When I installed RTR: PE 1.9, I saved it directly into the "The Creative Assembly" folder. If I install TIC (tried to already, but quit when I realised it would take a few hours....), into the same folder ("The Creative Assembly") will both mods work independently or will it become one big mess???

Sorry, my original question was:

I have copied my "saves" folder from the RTW folder into My Documents. If I mess up my RTW folder trying to install TIC, would the saves folder work if I re-installed RTW 1.5 and RTR: PE and then pasted the saves folder into the RTW main folder?

I would be gutted if my favourite campaign saves were lost .

Answers/replies will be much appreciated.

You need to have installed the mod switch version of RTRPE v1.9 for this. Do you have that or the simple version?

No, I don't have mod switch version.

If I delete my RTW folder and reinstall RTW gold edition and RTR: PE, will my copied saves folder work?

You can copy the save game somewhere first (my documents possibly) and uninstall and delete all traces of RTW/RTR etc from your system.

The you make a new installation and choose RTR 1.9 mod:switch version. The normal version wouldn't work with TIC (probably). Then just put back the save game files in the Rome - Total War\RTRPE\saves folder

I won't be playing RTR: PE for a while now though. TIC is AWESOME!
