Is there anyone else that finds VH/VH campaigns with any faction exceptionally easy? Every time I play a campaign I roll over everyone. I never go on crusades. I always attack first. I always rack up a respectable amount of cash. I...for lack of a better word... pwn this game. I play a campaign once every two months so the game never gets old for me. And in case u were wondering, I NEVER use cheats, it defeats the purpose of the game and anyone who uses them should be visited by an Inquisitor (just a little TW humor).

The best factions:

Economically- England: After conquering the whole island (don't let those skirts from the North off the hook), the trade England generates is amazing. With England, the fighting should be done in France and Belgium (after securing the island), this way you can turn all your castles on the English mainland, i.e. Nottingham, Caernarvon, and Inverness, into cities (trade-->$$$)

Militarily- Denmark: Two words, Heavy Infantry. Bum rush any enemies lines and it won't take long for them to route. Hamburg secures a Southern border while you work on your economy (Oslo, Stockholm)

This post has no particular relevance but post up your opinions on your favorite factions and what you do with them.

Even though I don't find them exceptionally easy (not too much of a challenge, nonetheless), I'll post anyway.


Economically: Spain.
Once you conquered all of Iberia, it is very eas to maintain a loose defense both at the french and the african border, with each one castle (I never build much of them anyway), which lets you convert the other stuff to big fat cashcows, if just you got the right trade agreements.
Aswell as: Byzantine Empire.
Thessalonika and Constantinople, both together usually make as much money as whole spain, when done rightly. If not more (Lategame about 16,000 each).

Militarily: Denmark, for reasons you already stated.
Also HRE, I care **** for the "professional" armies of the british/france, as long I just have Reiters. The rest should make it, I never saw a Gothic Knight retreating from those pesky muskets/archebusiers.

For some reason, I never really enjoyed playing with the Byzantines or the Turks. Sicily is another one of my least favorite ones. perhaps it's the geography or the tech tree but I like Western European factions better.
