Campaign map standards - missing tgas?

this is a problem probably of my own making (perhaps due to unpacking some files) but I wondering if someone could help. The Campaign map standards/flags for all new factions i.e. Norway, Ireland, KoJ etc are missing. The colours are there but the symbols aren't. I had a look in my data\banners folder and it appears I've got two files called symbols9.tga.

One is DDS file like the rest (and has a black background + rebel swords) and the other is just a tga (with some of the new factions symbols: a blue lion - Norway, black cross- teutons, and a dude on a horse -rus?).

I converted this file into a DDS, removed the imposter with rebels symbols - nothing changed. Or do I need to start a new campaign to see the changes?:hmmm:

Any help much appreciated.
