I tried before and sure wasn't easy, the units you could recruit were kinda.....*****.

at the begining of the campaing most citys/castles are under reber rule,sure you have the entire world against you but at least you own (almost) half a world
PS:play rebel as a whole or the different kinds of rebels(german,anatolian,desert rebels etc)?

It would be fun to play as the rebels on Stainless Steel 5.0 late era campaign, they only have about 3 provinces.
