Province renaming.
Fantastic mod. The best one Ive played actually. However, can anyone out there tell me precisely how to change the names of provinces on the campaign map? Im talking about changing, for instance, Nottingham/Nottingham into Midlands/Nottingham or Constantinople/Constantinople into Propontis/Constantinople.
Incidentally, this isnt intended as a critisism but Ive notced a couple of inaccuracies with the regional titles thing. For instance Count of the midlands should more properly be called Earl of Nottingham, Duke of Dublin-Earl of Leinster Duke of Cardiff-Earl of Deheubarth etc.
Thanks.

Re: Province renaming.
you can change thjis by altering the imperial_campaign_regions_and_settlement_names.txt
and the
Late_Era_Campaign_regions_and_settlement_names.txt
in the text folder after you have done this you need to delete the map.rmw in the maps base folder. the game will start slowly after this because it needs to recreate thje map.rmw. also you should only change the name outside the { } because that is what will apear ingame.
hope this helps

It does indeed help. Thanks. Is this all I need to do? I mean I dont have to search through and alter every instance of a particular name appearing or anything?

Re: Province renaming.
Maybe you should wait with all this huge work until 6.0 comes out. It has a brand new map so your work will be useless there...

Re: Province renaming.
It won't... Most regions stay the same, with the addition of new ones - it will be a copy-paste job to incorporate it into 6.0. I wanted to do it myself but didn't figured how... Be sure to change Caen provence to Normandy!
