Default I Laughed when I seen this:

    http://s144.photobucket.com/albums/r...fflewaffle.jpg

That is a screenshot that I took from my France campaign.

Just the concept of my general leading a angry mob to conquer an empire is a silly allegation, but hilarious all on its own =D

How Prince Louis became such a good General.

If I remember correctly, he started out about half of every one of his stats, which is very good for starting a campaign. To raise his stats up more, I began to only use him to conquer cities, and before i knew it his stats were stacked. He used to be full command stats but I received a shield bearer retinue and it lowered it by 1 =[. He was about full stats around the age of 25... which is insane =D

    Oh wells. Happy newyear =]

Wow thats pretty fast. I usually manage to build up a general to nearly full stats when they reach 30s or mid 30s.

i dont even bother mine........if he conquered a settlement.....got settle there....i'll take half of your best men and continue onward........if theres a kid who is of age.....he'll pursue that army......kinda wierd no?? but hell my heir always is the vanguard of the the invasion (nearest to enemies) most of the time young (teen agers) and by that time they have a stack of guards (kinda 30+)

I always sent my king's sons only. I do not train faction leaders, they're not worth the time since they are all pretty old and gonna kick the bucket soon.

Nice pics... I notice he's gonna take his foreign fruitcake along with him when he leads that mob though.

Training up monster generals is pretty easy; especially with a faction like France that has a lot of enemies and/or rebels to train them up on. With Christian factions, I have my family pretty much planned out; so I know who will be heir way before hand (barring the occasional unlucky case of madness), and train them up accordingly.

I never even know who my Faction Leader/Heir is. I found eight generals sitting in a castle today who I didn't even know existed. I have 70+ regions at the moment and have adopted a fair amount of generals.
The whole family tree thing doesn't interest me at all.

Me to. I never use governors because they get weird traits. I use generals often as heavy cavalry and of course to lead an army. Even that last thing isn't that important. In my current campaign I have a lot of armies led by captains because the generals where assassinated. In battles it doesn't change the outcome. Even against the Mongols I used fresh generals and fresh troops and beat four stacks of Mongols with three stacks of mine. It took me two battles and some severe losses in the first and those pesky Mongols where gone.

I have 60 regions. Most generals spawn in my capital (Iconium) but some where born in Jedda of all places. It takes them thee years (= three turns) to reach the civilized world.

Officer to a soldier who refuses to fight: There three types of soldiers who don't have to fight. They are called KIA, MIA and POW and you are not one of them.

    Tosa will be missed.
