Paeninsula Italica: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forum...r-RTW-%28BI%29 . I don't think there's another earlier Rome focussed mod.

Default Old Testament Era Total War Mod?

I've been looking for an Old Testament era Middle East TW mod roughly the era during the wars of Canaan to the era of the Babylonian conquests, specifically with nations such as Israel, Judah, the Philistines, etc.

I've done some digging and found some applicable mods threads {"Near East TW", "Canaan TW", & "Ancient World TW"}, but these are either dead or just in the planning stage. "Bronze Age TW" is from an earlier age & doesn't have the Israelites as a player nation.

Are there any working TW mods dealing roughly with this part of history?

    Thanks much!

How much of India do you need? Several mods have at least one portion

I'm going to start playing Barbarian invasion again soon and was just looking for something which spiced the AI up a bit, polished up the map and maybe added a few units. I was thinking of using Darthmod but I've already played a vanilla campaign with that so was hoping for something a bit different.

Does anyone know a mod, whether large or small, that improves upon the Alexander campaign? I know there's a mod called Megas Alexandros, but it seemed to be dead. So I'm looking for another mod. Thanks in advance.

I looked a while ago for the same thing, no avail. Not many people have looked into it, most projects die before they're released to the public (if they ever are, for this case at least). I found this one (ALEX Nice & Slow), which enhances the experience a bit, but it isn't a radical change. no new textures or anything, only text.
Linky linky to my last.fm profile! Clicky clicky! If you like anything that ranges from breakbeat to downtempo/chillout, from house to drum & bass, you might find something new in between! (Artist suggestions are more than welcome )

It seemed like Megas Alexandros is the best released mod for improving Alexander. But it only improved upon the campaign map and some text files. I was hoping for improved textures and units too. Well, I found a Alexander overhaul mod that seemed to improve upon every aspects. But the download link had been removed and no longer works. I wonder if anyone has a copy of this mod and can upload it. Thanks a lot.

Extended Greek Mod (XGM) is usually the best choice for beginners, once you've got the hang of it you could try Extended Cultures, Diadochi Total War or Europa Barbarorum.

EB is the best by far. Tried roma surrectum and RTR but they aren't as good as EB.

EB is an excellent mod but not exactly beginner friendly for a first experience and I say it as EB Punic historian.
