First time trying a mod, questions about SS
Hi, been playing TW series for quite some time, but this is actually the first time I'm trying a mod. I've heard great things about SS, so this is was my first choice.
My biggest reason for downloading a mod is that I would like a better campaign AI, any other features will just be a bonus to me. I was wondering if the improved AI that is included in this mod will be installed along with everything else, or if I have to install it manually..? The reason I'm asking is that in the SS 4.1 FAQ I read something about how to install the improved AI files.
Atm I currently have only MTW2 and not Kingdoms. From what I read from other players, Kindoms just didn't seem worth the money. But, would an upgrade from SS 4,1 to 5,1 make it worth the money, or are those versions basically the same?

Re: First time trying a mod, questions about SS
You should add Lusted's new AI, there's a thread about this on this or next page of this forums...
Kingdoms is crap, I played 10 minutes of each campaign and went back to SS. I bought it only for new versions of SS anyway... I don't like the idea of mini campaigns and playing without RC and BYG's stuff is also quite difficult for me...
So, get Kingdoms, get Lusted's, have fun like we all do. :-)

Re: First time trying a mod, questions about SS
Hi, thanks for the reply.
I'm gonna give SS 4,1 a go before i decide wether I want to buy Kingdoms. You mentioned Lusted's AI, is this only for 5,1 or can I use it on 4,1 as well?
If it is possible to us with 4,1, should I just add the lusted files once I've installed 4,1 or do I have to remove some old AI campaign files as well? Thanks.

Re: First time trying a mod, questions about SS
I think I remember Lusted saying it's okay for both versions but I'm not 100% positive on that.
Anyway, 4.1 had excellent Lusted's work too, just an older version...
