well these nice longbow man are just plaing stuped lol i am in a battle against the holey roman empire i am getting attackt from 3 sides. the german force that straith in front of me is getting shot at by my longbowmen but when they get to clos these longbowmen just run to them ha now they are getting slaughterd becous of there stupid mistake i cant send some troops too help them becous they are all in a fight. well germans kill them i cant bare stupidety in my armie

skirmish mode is still one and the other one euhm don' t remember what it' s been called. they actualie didn' t charge them they just ran away in the ennemies direction

Very rarely I've seen ranged units fail to skirmish properly and get caught up in melee with enemy infantry. Maybe that's what you mean? I don't see how they'd charge AT the enemy

You said you're getting attacked from 3 sides. The longbowmen are probably on skirmish mode, and the armies could have approached them in such a way that when they try to run from one, they run smack into another.

skirmish whas on yeah but they still could run to back of my armie lines, away from all germans but they just dissidet to run in to the first armie

They get caught quite often because they can't interrupt their shooting animation in order to run. So they have to fire their arrows first and can run only after that. Stupid. Blame CA.
