    Default help meh! (title stuff)

alright this is a noob question.

i'm playing as norway. my king who was duke or lord or whatever of two cities (bergen and uppsala i believe) dies. i no longer can find these titles anywhere.

did i have to transfer the titles to other characters before he died? am i screwed now? or can i still assign a still living family member the title at all? if so, how?

if my king croaked and took the titles, i will be a mad dude.

Place new generals into the cities in questions. Wait a while, and they should receive the new titles.

No. You just put those new guys in those cities and they get those titles after a while.

Unassigned city and castle titles will return to a character with less than 8 ancillaries after one complete turn in that city or castle.

I'm pretty sure it works the same for the other ones like Lord Marshall and High Chamberlain, etc EXCEPT that those can only return to your faction leader after he stays in the city with a building that bestows that title
