I'm tempted to go with Holy Roman Empire, but I think I'm going to go with Norway. I never see Norway invade the British Isles.

I saw Norway on the isles many times. I even saw them taking them all once.

My bet is England. The most player-like expansion and the interface is also compatible.

Hungary has different interface (little columns) and also a player would take Alexandria too if he was taking Cairo. Taking just Cairo is purely AI silliness.

My guess is:
You are getting hammered by egypt as the templars and requested a crusade on Cairo as a last last call for aid.
Or you're playing as Ireland.
On the other hand, I think I saw you mention somewhere that you were playing as England.

He is playing SS and its normal for norway or scotland to invade each other's islands. So, my guess would be say sicily.

Poland. As AI they usually get hammered by HRE and then take some Lithuanian provinces or lose provinces to the Lithuanians. I never see them that balanced.

I was going to say Sicily but I don't see an actual person being at war with the Moors and not taking Parma and going to war with Egypt at the same time and taking that crappy Northern African province south of Crete before taking Crete itself.

2nd guess would be HRE, which is oddly not overextended. Also, I can see a human player selling Bologna to Milan and avoiding the inevitable war for one far flung province

I'm playing a campaign at the moment where Poland stretched from Praha and Magdeburg to Halych and Iasi... It is not that common for them to get hammered by HRE provided HRE is hit early.
