    Default Question on unit textures

Hello everybody, and first of all thanks for this great mod.

    Now my question:
In the center line of many units there is a small coloured line, at most units this line is grey at others it is white. You have to look very close to see it.
If you go as close as possible to the unit the line vanishes at most units.
Especially at the cape of the aujo gathesaz (german mercenary unit) and the franka gathesaz (german unit) is this line visible.
At the armenian kataphrakt unit a grey line is visible in the beard of the unit what looks awfull.

I have put all video options, AA etc on maximum, i have got this problem with a nvidia and an ati graphic card.

Exists this line everywhere? Because it seems as if the units are constructed this way.

    Thanks for an answer

If you mean the area/line where the texture parts join on the model then there`s nothing you can do about it then edit the model. And that`s not easy at all and requires a very expensive program.

You are talking about the seam in texture wrapping. I have notice there is a way to blend it off better. When you open up the .dds texture files, you will notice the center of the face in some (about one pixel length) is gray. This is the gray when wrapped, becomes two pixels in length. You could move the texture (let say the face) one pixel to the left (by cut and paste and then blend it in with the original) and it will give a more uniform look. This mean you will have to redo all the textures in the game.

Thanks for the answer but i am not very good in such stuff.
I was just wondering if the textures look erverywhere the same or if i have got a problem with the graphik.

Do for example again the princeps or legionaries have a smal line coloured in their skin colour where the backbone is on your pc?
If you have maximum Zoom on the unit there is only a smal grey line that would not disturb me but if you zoom away it gets nearly the colour of the skin in the middle of their suit of armour what doesnt look to good. (difficult to ignore when you look at the unit).
For all hoplite units there is not such a problem.
And just aut of interest why do the texture in the middle of the body has to be seamed? If i understand you right the body is divided in two parts that are joint there in the middle. i know that question might sound stupid but i have no big knowledge of computers.
In other games i can not see such lines.
I havent played medieval 2 yet is it the same there?
    Thanks again for your effort.
