MCM i have in my PC RTW it EB must i remove all, or cant just install BI and TIC?

TIC should install fine next to EB as long as you have BI 1.6 installed and have EB set up to work with BI. I've been running it like this even through beta testing EB 1.0 and many reinstalls of TIC during development...

Yeah every mod with switch-mod capability (EB, TFT, TIC, etc) can be installed onto the same BI 1.6 version.
Only thing that writes things over is the Intro movie- which only TIC has I guess.

I want to play it as it is meant to play, even if it's hard as hell. So what are the recommended difficulty levels?

Play at the level you play RTR 6 Gold or RTR 6 PE. If it's too easy increase the levels. If it's too hard decrease the levels.

There are no recommended levels as everyone has their own style.

great work guys! i've started my first battle and i'm enjoined so much!
but i've a question about type of fighting of sacred band and liby-phoenician hoplites i've noticed who they combat in greeks hoplite's old style and not in macedonian style! is it historically accuracy?

Yes, they have adopted it since conflicts with greek cities in Sicilia and southern italy. Long before macedonian phalanx of Philip II arrived.

i have a problem every time i try to start a campaign the menu returns me to the desktop and this message appears saying that a starting date is expected for the campaign or the battle

How come Lybian Hoplites seem to use just there spear in close combat ? I can seem to switch to sword? I was playing a custom battle just to let you no.

Did the RTR team do anything special with the battle ai? Because I haven't seen that kind of cohesion of formations with any other modification before. If so, is it catered especially for TIC or is their a larger modification for RTR 7?

There is a bug in RTW that prevents correct usage of the secondary weapon when using the overhead spear animation for the primary weapon. This is the same reason that EB removed the secondary weapons from hoplite units that use the overhead spear...

i get a CTD, playing carthage during the winter 229, i dont know if it this bcs i m leting the city of Segobriga rebelling ? (bcs even with a full army the city was always in red, so i let them rebelling and i will kill all population when i re-capture it)

Edited (Brusilov) I've moved your post with the savegame into the Technical Help Thread. The CTD is there just on the subsequent turn for me.

So far from our BT reports, we have no incidents of CTD because of city rebelling. Is that consistant ? Would it be possible to upload you save game (prior to CTD).

*Note: for CTD report it would be best to post and upload also your last save game for us to analyze easier.

Well sega, I won't spoil it for you, but the AI seems a lto better in both campaing and battle. Entirely new, gorgeous map and UI's etc. New units and and missions you get from the advisor (Carthage only I think) and lots more. You just can't describe it in words!

Play it Carthage cant passed the first battle my army is complete destroyed i need ideas.

Loosing the first battle is'nt fatal. You have to blitz the Turdetanii, which is rather simple at this stage, since their capital is not very well defended...
Just believe in your strength
