    It's a mod switch setup, which means it won't affect any other mods you've installed. It'll install to its own folder, and everything TIC-related is contained within that folder, saves and all.

    The easiest way is to keep different copies of the game in different folders. On most PCs disk space isn't a problem.

    Take a copy of your current game folder and put it in another folder. Set up shortcuts to the exe in that folder and you have completely separate games.

    Install TIC into another folder or the original.

    I have 15 different folders at the moment - each contains a different game. I retain a clean version of RTW patched to 1.2 and a clean version of RTW 1.5 and RTW BI 1.6. It could be seen as excessive but each game can be simply deleted and the removal doesn't affect any other game.

    Current RTW folders;

    If you only have a single installation of RTW (where RTR 6 Gold is installed) then the only way to keep it, or even play TIC to be exact is to do this:

    1. Copy you RTR 6 Gold save game somewhere.
    2. Uninstall RTW and delete all traces, folders etc and also th registry.
    3. Install RTW and patch to 1.2
    4. Make copy/copies of clean RTW 1.2 and install RTR 6 Gold on one of the copy
    5. Install BI to the original RTW copy and patch it to 1.6
    6. *optional* make copies of RTW-BI 1.6
    7. Install TIC on the copy you make

    *see Brusilov posts for visuals.

    The only thing it's going to affect (replace) is the intro movie, cause that lives in the BI folder and can't be mod-specific.

    Very nice, congratulations on getting to this point. I know it's been a long and difficult road, but ultimately very fruitful. You have some high standards to meet and I can't wait to see what you have come up with.
