hello,
i started playing EB a few days ago and i noticed something about mines.
in the building queue, it shows you the mine and the price (which is not cheap), right clicking shows that it will increase mining income by 2000. however, once built, i checke my city stats, and it only showed a mining income of 600! what happened?

It's a known bug. Unfortunately the displayed value in the building description cannot be modded satisfyingly. You'll have to check the city details to see the project profits.

i see,
i thought something was going on, initially i thought the mine managers were embezzeling my profits...lol.
anyway, i think it's a steep price to pay to get a limited mining income.

The value of the income showed by RTW for mines does not show up in any .tga or in any .txt file as an image or string we can modify....
