i dont know if there are other people here that noticed some of the mercenaries can be retrained to full unit size. So i whas wondring if this is a bug ore did kk intentionalie add this option?

I noticed it a couple times, I like it. Finally my 3 gold chevron mercs (which for some reason always have higher exp than my core troops) will be able to maintain themselves.

the variaty of merc units is to low but in my campains i allways get lots of merc to buy at least 3 sorts of merc with a 3 of each

Some seem to replenish very slowly.
I did edit the file for the vanilla game quite some time ago to increase the replenishment a lot, and I also made all mercenaries available from the beginning to the end.
Took some time though so I never felt like redoing it.
replenish very slowly? not all units can be retraint i think the other s just need one turn to be retrained

Strange, but I recall I was able to retrain unhorsed knights (which in my op are 'crusade' units) in Antioch...
think the unhored knights is the same story as saracen merc only retrainabel in cairo i believe
the replensh part hmmm recruted some merc in one of my provinces and could recruit them the next turn again so :s think it depends on some other stuff?
