unit size problem

Hello everyone. I had been using Rome total realism Gold for a while on my old labtop, and i got used to the large unit sizes of typically 80-120 men, depending on the type of infantry. Needless to say, I was distraught when I installed RTR platinium 1.9(after the install of both RTW vanilla and BI), to find that the unit sizes had been made smaller and were around the size typically found in the vanilla version(about 20 troops).

Is there any way this can be remedied? Or is this the way it is supposed to be with Platinium? Assistance with regard to this matter would be greatly appreciated!

Incidentally, I have vista and after the install it told me that the game was not properly installed for this version of Windows and so could be reinstalled. When it said this, I ignored it and the game ran fine, but the odd thing was the units were small. Could this have anything to do with it?

You do know that the unit size is something you can change in Video Options(advanced options iirc), right? 20 for an infantry unit is on small. 80 is on large.
