    Default model problems on EB 1.0

    hi, i have been playing eb for a while, i have suffered some ctds on some siege battles as romani, but what i want to show is some graphical things i noticed.

    i think this problem is from some wrong vertex thing (maybe with the vertex asigned to the bone...i just don't know)on the model, look at the javelin, there is a triangular form there.

    when you look from this angle it appears to be ok

    and this one, the two weapons at the time when the units fight on melee (when they are throwing the javelins it seems to be ok, but with the melee weapon 2 weapons appear)

    sorry for my english, i will be looking for more things like this to let you know

    Thankx for doing EB, its a very nice mod...i'm waiting for EB on MTW2 engine (EB2?)

    There is a known bug with that one model. I think it has been fixed...

    Is that last picture the Praetorian Equites?

    I've also found some model problems:

    The Sweboz Druhtiz Skandzisku and the Druhtiz Habukisku have the same model.

    They attack with an "underhand" thrust, but the spearpoint points the wrong way... I fixed the problem (that's why i havent got a screenshot) by changing their attack to an "overhand" thrust, this solved the spearpoint problem, but now another problem appeared... When they stand still, the spears goes trough their head

    I remember that this was also the case for the germanic spearmen in an earlier version, but it's been fixed now... by making the spearpoint alot bigger:/??, I think it looks a bit funny, and i hope it's historical...

    Is there any way you can fix the spears (turn them the right way) in some kind of fix, so they can use their "underhand" thrust?

    hi, i've found another bug, i think its very common it is on the standard bearer(?)

    look at the face and you'll se some clipping between the animal skin and the helmet, when the head is animated the parts move independently causing a serious clipping, just take a look at your equites consulares at the battle map.

    @MarcusAureliusAntoninus

    i think they're the praetorian equites, but i'm not sure..that was a custom battle....and i think i saw the wrong attack animation when on melee

    @Dansk viking

    keep posting the problems here to make a little recopilation and to help EB

    The Equites Praetoria model is just full of problems. They haven't been fixed because the plan is to throw out the model and reskin the unit on the Ala Imperia model.

    As for the other stuff, I'll try to get the team to look at this...
