(Shutter) This guy is terrifying. Sometimes I wonder if he actually believes some of this stuff or just does it to get a rise. Either way I think he's missing some of that stuff Jesus said about love and all that.

This bloke is highly critical of anything that deviates from his narrow minded view of christianity.
funny how almsot all his tracts have someone on their knees prostrating themselves to 'god', aided in no small part by a chick tract.
i doubt he's joking
and even more disturbing is that a significant population of americans subscribe to his 'philosophy', after all there is a market for his comics

The moon and star is not the symbol of Islam. Islam is against idolatry, and in any case, the most Muslim countries in the world don't even use a crescent in their flag.

Yeah. IIRC, the moon and star were the sigil of the Turkic tribes, including the Seljuks, the Ottomans, etc. who were incidentally big leaders of the medieval Islamic community. But the moon and star never symbolised their religion; rather, it was of their nationality. Hence why many Central Asian, Turkic-inhabited countries have the crescent moon in their flags somewhere.

I learned about Jack Chick when I watched the Jesus Camp documentary and a 8 year old (9? 10?) girl handed one to a woman at a bowling alley because she felt called to save her.

One day Chick tracts and photoshop are going to be very close friends on my computer.

EDIT: Though on second thought, it really is hard to surpass the mind-numbingly funny stuff he writes.

Ahh jack chick,(doest deserve caps) such a wretch of an individual, seriously cant belive some people find their so called salvation in his vile little tracts. It seems more like fiction then anything what he writes, but many are somewhat entertaining. but Im definately glad I have forgotten most of his tracts.(didnt click on link)
