I tried XAI, it's not my thing. After a few rounds, something like a world war broke out with everyone turning on everyone else in the vicinity, my Allies turned on me, too, so it's more like vanilla where an Alliance is worth nothing and you're in for some chaos. I could be mistaken though as I quit after these first couple of rounds and deinstalled.
I'd like some stable AI which is not overly aggressive like in attacking everything and everyone nearby, actually like it is in SS. But smarter, so it doesn't attack via the most predictable routes but landing armies in your heartland which are usually less defended and defend their own settlements with more than just a general so I can't just backdoor them...
And a better battle AI which doesn't let itself get shot by artillery and long range missile tropps without doing something. Makes playing the missile-based factions quite pointless.
Anyone knows if there's such a thing?
