incorrect cd???

Ive tried instaling platinum and every time I try to click on the icons (for rtw and rtr) it says I have the wrong cd in yet i can play BI perfectly. does anyone know what the problem is or have an idea for a solution. I have the total war eras Rtw/Bi combined disk and I have never had any trouble with 1.5 mods.

There should be two icons on your desktop an RTRPE and a BI-RTRPE, are those the ones you are using?

The is the RTRPE but no Bi-RTRPE. so there are three icons 2 of the originals and 1 new one.

I did some modding last night and installed RTR to my bi folder I replaced any defaulty files with ones from my rtw folder, which worked almost perfectly. I got to the campaign menu and I tried to play but it ctd with no error report. I think Im going to try and move my data file from RTW(with rtr installed on it) into my BI folder and replace the other one.

think it'll work??

You should check out the RTR Plat tech support area, theres loads of good info in the stickied threads, and if that doesn't help post there, and I'm sure some one will assist you.
