need a file...

hi all... i'd to install windows xp again on my comp. but before i did this i put some of my files on my dad's external hard disk.. i transfered everything again when i had a fresh windows xp.. thing is i'm missing a file --> d3dx9_30.dll can anyone upload her/his file for me and tell me where to place it.. it should be very helpfull.. pls =)

Methinks that's a wee bit illegal.

You need to run the directx 9.0c install again. You can download this from microsoft. Do not use the windows update feature to get it, but actually download the redistribution package.

Click the above link - it will reinstall your DircetX9c and most liekly replace the lost file.
Also if you need it directX should be on yout total war cd!
