    Default Movie making

I'm getting more and more interested in making movies on my computer. I want to record audio and film clips from DVDs I own and use them in my projects. Can anyone recommend any programs that will record specifically for audio and one specifically for video?

What exactly do you want to do with your audio? For the video, Windows Movie Maker is a good place to start, for Macs, Final Cut Pro is the way to go.

If you have a mac and want to use media from DVDs I've recently found two great programs to do this,

Mac the Ripper, for taking copy righted media off of DVD's

Mpeg Streamclip, enables you to put an in and an out into DVD media and export it out in a number of codecs.

No, I dont have a Mac. What I want to do is rip audio and video from DVDs separately.

    Try this: http://www.dvd-ripper.biz/

The issue your going to have is that music is usually embedded with the sound FX so you just can't get clean music. However you might be able to get clean dialogue. Just have to test several programs.

I am a bi tsuprised by the musical choice. :hmmm:

For a first movie it's good though, I think.

Good first movie, the battle scenes don't really fit the music selection though, the wedding, child, and hall scenes do. Canon in D is meant to be used at pleasant events (i.e. weddings), otherwise very good for a first movie

Good! I like it. The slow motion goes very well with the music.

    thanks for your feedbacks.

for the music, I know the Pachelbel's Canon is surprising for the battle scenes but I love this music and I find it works well with the clip.

    hey Darsh

i think it really is well done for a first movie.
only i would recommend you to use different blendings next time, those are looking awful and not very professional. Also, if you make it shorter it would be easier to keep up interest.

    Waiting for more..
