the ‘point’ of existence.
on a tangent from zeneth’s attack on atheism, i would like to agree and disagree in my own way...
while i agree that belief in 'god' is not irrational, that doesn’t mean that the Christian ‘god’ is the truth. in fact i don’t believe in deification of any kind and god is a most misleading term that puts the magic of reality in a box - so to say!
taken from zeneth’s attack on atheism thread...
it explodes within itself... and infinity is included...‘For instance, the big bang theory has the universe starting from a singularity and then exploding outwards.’
> if you don’t want to read all of this then just accept that there are universal principles that need no external help, hence there is no creator god <
before you is a sheet of paper, upon it is a point; these two things together with balance represent the eternal universal principle by which everything exists as a continuum. the sheet of paper represents infinity the point represents its opposite the infinitesimal. as infinity is present this visualisation is not static, the point must reproduce [or continue] yet there is nothing outside of it, thus the next point must arise within the already existing primary point.
hence the universe doesn’t explode outwards but within itself!
we then have a situation where we have a point multiplied by infinity yet we cannot have an infinite amount of them ~ as we cannot have an infinite amount of anything. then we have a further limit by which one manifestation can follow the previous i.e. time. we could now ask how does ‘finite space’ get decided? well it doesn’t, the limit which can be thought of in real terms as the conservation of energy and time is completely arbitrary it is simply x, yet when you repeat that limit it is then set. for instance if the amount of time between point one and point two occurring is ‘x’, then the same must be applied to the next amount of time.
----------------------------------------
the god argument
the important thing to note here is that there must always be the principle and application of the principle! you cannot have a previous state of nothingness, nor an end state of nothingness, surely if there was such a state then nothing could arise and there would only be that state!
so what is god? Christians say he is a male creator god except when they are describing him as an occult god to avoid the complications of simplistic limits. as we see in the example above there is no need for creation, everything exists because everything simply is! there is infinity and the infinitesimal, as they exist there must follow principles because the one multiplies the other simply by being present.
ok now it is up to christians... what is the nature of your god? be sure that as soon as you define it it will be gone!![]()
long live the true god ~ the one that isnt a god at all!
merry xmass everyone
