William Wallace is really a good general for french army

hi all

i tried to have William Wallace in my French army in my campaign H/H and it worked fine just William have the grey skin but it was too cool to had him in french army

In my Norway campaign I've managed to bribe him disband his army of about 45,000 florins (playing H/VH). Far too easy. The great freedom fighter happily excepted his title as Duke of Edinburgh. I have him poised to take Dublin from the English, so he should be happy !

By the way, any means of actually seeing him ? I am terrified of messing with the battle_models.db but if change the faction name and numbers to norway will he appear in his human form for me?

Well, that worked !

Here is Wallace in all his glory with a Norwegian/merc army.

Licking the English (don't worry they were excommunicated!)

Man of the Hour, I never usually adopt but for young Wallace... why not?

Though now I'm left with the daunting possibility that Wallace could be a Norwegian king one day ..f..?:hmmm:

I love this game.

)

P.S. domenic I know you like the T2 look but just replace the two entries for william_wallace in the battles_models file in your SS/data/ unit_models folder
change 8 scotland to 6 france he'll appear. it's that simple.

That is really awesome Yelu and I've been wanting that for France is it possible but I can't open the models.db file with any current program I have, would it be possible for you to make a copy and just change it to france 6 and post it

Maikeru - open battle_models.db with Notepad. I can't post my version cos it won't be the same as yours (different mods/my own changes).

You want yours to look like this:

When I was playing as England, he killed 2 of my 3 sons, and when I tried to marry him into my family, he took off with my daughter! The remaining son fought him in a really intense battle, and crushed him. Scotland as a faction was destroyed (they adopted him, and all the other family members were dead, so he was "King William"), and my son went on to become a worthy king (plus he repopulated my family tree
