But how is the revolt CTD fix a garantee? A garantee that 9 versions later, you add back the scipii brutii (but no need for the senate, they were meant to be elliminated in vanilla RTW) and replace two exisisting factions. I'm not saying a scipii and brutii faction, I mean make the Illryians scipii and I don't know bactria brutii (with the scipii and brutii faction slots). I don't want to worry about a CTD 1 week into my Roman campaign, or Carthage, or those troublesome Greek cities. Do my idea. Leave that the only fact of a 2.0 platinum release, without TIC and all those special campaign mumbo jumbo. A nice and stable 2.0, but no need for new features, they're allready there. (*EDIT, didn't come out "spooky", but instead... *EDIT EDIT EDIT*)

It sounds kind of like you're talking about what we did with the Extended Realism mod, but I can't tell if you think it's a good idea or not.
