Game crashes on the end of the first turn.

Ok, I've just got the mod, and, while impressive, I've come against a rather nasty bug: after starting a campaign, I can take my go, and clicking 'End Go' sounds the bell and brings up the (new) Macedonian emblem, but them promptly crashes.

Any ideas as to how to fix this?

Any help would be much appreciated, and thanks in advance!

Well I have never had such problem. Is it ending the same each time you start a new campaign? If it's not just start a new campaign (1 turn isn't that hard to replay).

However it would be good if you could tell us which version you are using.

It's every time I play (so far), and it's version 6.2.

Everything else within the campaign, and the battles, work fine.

6.2 is a bit old. Maybe try installing RTR 6 Gold. It was the latest version. Or if you have RTW 1.5 or BI you can try Platinum (it's the same as RTR 6 Gold just ported to new platform). You'll lose nothing except some time.

Hmm I was told to install gold and then the 6.2 patch, but looking into it, that seems silly. I'll reinstall it off gold, and see what happens.

What was probably meant was RTR 6 Gold and then the 6.2 music mod (which is a seperate, large, download).

Ah yes, that would make sense.

It works now (6.0 Gold, that is), which is cool, and I may steal your idea of muting the music and putting something else on.
